Terms of service

woobs tracks the sales an affiliate brings you and works out what they have earned. It reads your Stripe account, records referrals, and creates discount codes when you ask it to.

woobs does not pay your affiliates. We calculate what is owed and show you the list. Sending the money — by PayPal or any other means — is yours to do, and the obligation to pay is between you and your affiliates.

You need to be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and to give us an email address that works. Keep your password to yourself: anything done through your account is treated as done by you.

You are responsible for what your affiliates do in your programme, including any discount codes you let them create in your Stripe account.

Pricing is on the pricing page and works like this:

• Free while your affiliates generate up to $250 of revenue in a calendar month.
• Pro, $49 a month, up to $10,000 of affiliate revenue a month.
• Business, $149 a month, with no ceiling.

Affiliate revenue means the gross value of the sales your affiliates generated, before any commission is deducted. Refunds reduce it. We take no percentage of your sales and charge no fee per transaction.

The free tier is a trial, not a permanent plan. The first month your affiliates pass $250, the trial ends and a paid plan is required to keep using woobs — including in later months where you fall back below $250.

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew until cancelled. Cancel whenever you like and you keep access to the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund part-months, except where the law requires it.

woobs works by installing an app in your Stripe account. Stripe shows you every permission before you approve it: read and write on coupons and promotion codes, read-only on invoices, charges, checkout sessions, customers and events. woobs holds no permission that can move money out of your account.

You can uninstall the app from your Stripe settings at any time. Doing so stops attribution immediately, and any commission not yet paid remains your obligation to your affiliates.

• Use woobs for anything illegal, or for a business Stripe itself prohibits.
• Try to break into other customers' data, or probe the service for weaknesses without asking us first. Tell us instead — we would rather hear it from you.
• Fabricate clicks, conversions or referrals, whether to inflate a partner's earnings or to make our numbers say something they should not.
• Resell woobs as your own product without a written agreement with us.

We work to keep woobs running and lose nothing, but we do not promise it will never be down or never lose an event. woobs is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind.

Attribution depends on things outside our control: a visitor's browser, a content blocker, whether the tracking script is installed correctly, and Stripe delivering its events. We cannot guarantee that every sale is attributed, and we recommend checking your numbers against Stripe's.

To the extent the law allows it, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost revenue. Where we are liable, our total liability is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death, personal injury, or fraud.

You can close your account whenever you want. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix it first. If we discontinue woobs entirely, we will give at least 30 days' notice and let you export your data.

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect, and continuing to use woobs after that means accepting it.

These terms are governed by French law, and the courts of Paris have jurisdiction. If you use woobs as a consumer rather than a business, this does not remove the protections of your own country's law.
